CONFERENCES

SXSW 2023

Magic City Counterpoint (electronic duo between Madeleine Cocolas & Dr. Chris Perren) created a new interactive EP called “Dialogue” in collaboration with award winning gaming designers, Fuzzy Ghost.  “Dialogue” was officially accepted into the SXSW Festival program and was presented at SXSW 2023 in Sydney.

Dots+Loops 2021

Mentor at Dots+Loops Fellowship Residency Week in 2021.  Mentored the performance fellows and composition fellows and lead workshops in collaborative music practice.

COMMISSIONS

Commissioned to composer and perform original live set as part of the Duty of Care exhibition at the Institute of Modern Art, Brisbane (2024).

GRANTS

Magic City Counterpoint was successfully awarded a Queensland Arts Showcase Program Activate/Accelerate grant in May 2022.  The grant was for $3,000 and was used to fund the interactive EP “Dialogue”.
